As we prepare to open in Fall 2026, we are intentionally building our team with care—looking for teachers who share our heart for children, our commitment to excellence, and our faith-centered approach.

Zannah Leachman | Director

Hi, I’m Zannah, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Little Mountaineers Christian Preschool began with a desire to create something meaningful for families in our community—a place where young children are not only cared for and known, but also given a strong foundation for future learning.

My background in both education and ministry has shaped the way I approach early childhood development. I believe these early years are critical, not just for social and emotional growth, but for building the foundational skills that prepare children for long-term academic success. This includes early literacy, problem-solving, language development, and the ability to learn within a structured and supportive environment.

As both a parent and an educator, I’ve seen how much children thrive when learning is intentional, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. That’s why Little Mountaineers has been thoughtfully designed to balance structured learning with hands-on exploration—helping children build confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.

Because we are starting from the ground up, I’ve been very intentional about every aspect of this program. From our curriculum choices to our daily routines to the team we are building, each piece is carefully considered to ensure children are supported academically, socially, and spiritually.

At the same time, our faith remains an important part of who we are. We aim to create a classroom environment where children experience kindness, consistency, and encouragement, while also being introduced to God’s love in meaningful and age-appropriate ways.

My goal is to partner with families to provide a strong, well-rounded foundation—one that prepares children not only for kindergarten, but for continued growth in all areas of life.

I’m so excited to welcome our first families as we open in Fall 2026 and begin building something truly special together.
